Michael J. Cawley has become a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine and is among only a few pharmacists across the country to achieve this designation.

Jomy George and Ben Ereshefsky were respectively elected faculty delegate and alternate faculty delegate to the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) House of Delegates and will serve in the initial session of the House on July 26, 2014, as well as the final session on July 30, 2014, in Grapevine, TX.

Professional Activity

Karin Richards became certified as a master trainer to deliver Consumer Wellness Advocate instructor certification workshops to future students.

Rondalyn Whitney testified to the Maryland Senate regarding OT’s role in telehealth. The legislation originally addressed telemedicine and excluded OT; however, it is now being conceptualized as telehealth to acknowledge the strong role for OT in this new service delivery model. Dr. Whitney's testimony was instrumental to get funding for telehealth and mental healthcare through Medicaid, and the Maryland legislation advanced to a standing House committee.
